In 1956 or 1957 Dick Jackson designed custom taillights for his 1957 Ford consisting of a large red reflectors lens augmented by smaller 1953 Buick lenses and chromed accessory spinners. Dick sold the design for the taillights to Alex Kraus of Cal Custom for $100. The Cal Custom taillights were produced and sold as Satel-Lites, and Alex sold hundreds of these sets in the 1950s.
