Russell Gerrits 1931 Ford
1931 Ford Roadster owned by Russel Gerrits of Chicago, Illinois. Russel sent a picture of his car to Rod & Custom in 1954. The picture was shown in the “Reader’s Custom” section in Rod & Custom June 1954. When Russel bought it, someone had tried to build a hot rod of it, but they had given up. The engine and transmission were missing at the time he bought it. Russ’s plan at the time was to leave the car strictly stock.[1]
