Roy Schellhous
According to SCTA News December 1944 Roy Schellhous' English Velocette was taken out for an airing by Mel Straw of the Santa Monica Low Flyers car club the other day. It threw him, and he had to buy a new headlight. According to the magazine, the moral was to keep four wheels and eight barrel under you at all times.[1]
SCTA News April 1946 could further inform in their What's Doin' section, that the 4-barrel Schellhous brothers', Roy and Harry, both Santa Monica Low Flyers members, went on a cruise to Washington last week in their V8 roadster. On their return trip they rolled it, a prove that they couldn't handle 8 barrels yet according to the newsletter. Luckily none were hurt.[2]
