Rich Degonia and Ron Dozier's AA Fuel Dragster

AA Fuel Dragster owned by Rich Degonia and Ron Dozier. The Degonia & Dozier dragster featured a modified Wayne Hartman 1923 Ford Model T fiberglass body with a Eddie Potter aluminum nose piece. George Cerny of Cerny's Custom Shop painted the car Antique blue over Isfahan Turquoise base paint. It was trimmed in pearl-green, and featured lettering by Kelly.[1] The car was built in 1965, and it raced at OCIR, Irwindale, Lions and Carlsbad raceways till the mid 1970s.[2]


The Degonia & Dozier dragster was featured in Drag Racing October 1967, as the "Cushion & Cue Roadster." By then the best performance to date was 7.85 e.t. and 200 mph with an 392 motor. It had also ran a 331 motor, and achieved 8.39 e.t. and 191 mph powered by that one.[1]


Larry Mocnik got the body from the car from the Degonia family in June of 2015.
