1953 Ford convertible owned and restyled by Ray Russell of Detroit, Michigan. Ray was an industrial designer, and his Ford was sectioned 7 inches. The body was sectioned before and behind the openings of the front fenders. It was dropped below the headlights to preserve the fender flange. The same procedure was followed at the rear fenders and below the decklid.[1]
