Ray Bentsen
Ray Bentsen's first car was a highboy that he built about 1954 and 1955. Ray's highboy had a small block Chevrolet. and it had to be one of the first early highboy with a Chevrolet engine. After the highboy followed a 1956 Chevrolet hardtop that he painted metallic purple and white with flames in the front. Ray's friend Walter Andersen believes he owned the Chevrolet for over 35 years.
