Oscar Ruelas' 1939 Chevrolet
1939 Chevrolet Four Door Master Deluxe originally owned by Duke's car club member Ernesto Ruelas of East Los Angeles, California. Ernesto did also own a 1956 Chevrolet, known as the "Mr. Know it All", with his brother Oscar. Oscar was the first of the Ruelas' brothers to be draftet into the Army in the mid 1960s. When Oscar was drafted, Ernie took full possession of the '56. When Oscar returned from his tour of duty, Oscar traded his half of the '56 for the '39. The car became known as Fabulous the 39#1 as Oscar later sold it and bought another '39 that he named the Fabulous 39#2.[1]
