Max was raised by his mother after his father died at young age.
Max Balchowsky started to work for the movie industry, and is best amongst movie aficionados for preparing the Mustang and Dodge Charger for the movie Bullitt. Max worked as a car preperation expert, and was responsible for preparing the cars used in Vanishing Point and The Love Bug. Max also worked as a stuntman, and he was doing stunts in the 1966 Movie Grand Prix.
