Mandy Holder of Springfield, Illinois was a member of the Knucklebusters of Springfield car club. In the mid 1950s he drove his 1951 Mercury custom to California to have it restyled by Barris Kustoms. After Mandy returned from California he started pinstriping and painting, and according to Bud DeLay he did about every car in town that had pinstriping. Mandy was also into motorcycles, and he had an Ariel square four. Mandy also painted a lot of bikes.[1]
