1959 Chevrolet El Camino owned by Louis Spina of New York City, New York. Louis lived in The Bronx, and he was a member of the Neck Runners of Throggsneck Bronx car club.

Louis purchased the El Camino in California in 1960, so it came with one-piece bumpers. It was a typical "hot rod" of that period, and modifications included a mild lowering, wide whitewall tires and pie dish hubcaps. Power came from a 348 with 3 deuces and a 3 on the tree. In 1965 the 348 engine was swapped out for a 327 1963 Chevrolet Corvette engine with 365 horsepowers. At that time he also swapped in 4:56 gears.[1]

In 2018 Louis son, Mike Spina, told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama that his dad used to work nights, and his mom would take the car out and street race while he was sleeping. "Dad's club was in the Country Club section of Throggs Neck, and I remember the clubhouse being an old two-car garage on Griswald Avenue. It was covered in license plates. If you look at the club plaque, they used the Road Runner bird as a mascot. This was years before the actual Road Runner car was produced." Louis sold El Camino in 1966. After selling the El Camino, he bought a 1964 Cadillac Coupe DeVille in Gunmetal Grey with a black top and white leather interior.[1]
