Lance McCormack's 1950 Mercury

1950 Mercury Eight owned and restyled by Lance McCormack at Romance of Rust. Lance, who trained at Rolls Royce Motors making bodies for Phantom V1 cars, built the Merc between 1992 and 2002. The car is powered by a 368 ci 1957 Continental Mark II motor. The interior is Gucci goat Conoly hide and snakeskin. Known as "Planet Voodoo," it made its debut at the Louis Vuitton Bagatelle Concours d'Elegance.[1]


After completing the build, Lance sold the Merc to Yoko Ono and the Alan Klein Organisation.[1]
