1959 Chevrolet Impala restyled by Dick Jackson of Advanced Custom Paints for Ken Leake of Long Beach, California. The body was stock except for two small bullets in the taillights and a bolt-in bar grille with small bullets in purple-dyed headlight mounting plates. The most advanced "restyling" on Ken's Impala was done by Dick and his paint gun as he sprayed the car in an unusual silver pearl base with white and violet scallops over it. The interior of the car was upholstered in purple Naugahyde pleats with white rolls. Side panels, seats, and doors received the pleat and roll treatment. The headliner was white with purple rolls. Black carpets with white scuff panels and trim completed the interior work. Other changes included side stacks on the lower edge of the rear fenders, 1957 Dodge Lancer discs with purple dyed centers and dual spotlights.[1]
