Phil Cool's 1932 Ford Roadster of Cloverdale, California. Phil's roadster won the 1978 America's Most Beautiful Roadster Award at the Grand National Roadster Show, and it has ben voted as one of the "100 Most Influential Hot Rods of All Time." Foster upholstered the car for Cool.

Ken Foster ran and operated AAAction Custom Interiors in Sacramento, California. Before opening his own shop, Ken worked for Mac O'Neil at Mac's Custom Interiors. Mac and Ken learned Ron Lago the custom upholstery trade in the 1960s.[1]
