Johnny Aguirre's 1940 Dodge
1940 Dodge Business Coupe owned and restyled by Emperors of California car club member Johnny Aguirre of Riverside, California. Restyled in an early custom style, the car features a 3 inch chopped top and fully molded fenders. Johhny grafted on 1940 Ford fenders and headlights. The rear of the car features an inset license plate and 1940 Hudson taillights. Inside, Johnny had the dasboard chromed. Once the bodywork was completed, Johnny gave the car a Royal Maroon paint job. He dressed it up with 16 inch wheels, Flipper caps, dual spotlights, and a 1940 Lincoln steering wheel. The build was completed early in 2019, just in time for the first Kustomrama Customs by the Sea car show in Santa Barbara, California in March of 2019.[1]
