John Cox's 1956 Mercury

1956 Mercury owned and restyled by John Cox of San Diego, California. John's Merc was channeled six inches over the frame, the coils were cut as well. A set of 1955 Chrysler side trim was added, separating the Wisteria and Shasta White paint scheme. The door handles were removed and the trunk was filled. The rear end was reworked in able to accept a set of 1955 Chrysler taillights. Fender skirts and Oldsmobile Fiesta hubcaps wrapped up the style.
