Joe Smith's 1932 Ford
1932 Ford 5-Window coupe built and owned by Joseph H. Smith of Philadelphia. The Coupe was powered by a Oldsmobile Rocket mill carrying four Stromberg 97 Carburetors. The Olds Rocket was connected to a 1937 Cadillac transmission. The steering originated from a 1937 Hudson. The body was channeled and the frame was Z'd. It was painted Titian Red and fit with a white Orlon top. Inside the car featured black and red upholstery. Pontiac taillights and Nerf bars were installed along with small motorcycle fenders. Joe ran his car on both the streets and race strips, yet it was a show winner as well.[1]
