Jim Truscott's 1956 Ford
1956 Ford Victoria restyled by George Cerny of Cerny's Custom Shop for Jim Truscott of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Jim wanted the very best for his Vicky so he decided to drive it all the way to Compton, California in order to have it restyled. At Cerny's Custom Shop wheels and stock engine accessories received the glitter treatment. Then triple lakes plugs were installed, and a custom tonneau cover sewn in. From Cerny's shop, the trip went to Southgate where Baron, Roth and Kelly applied elaborate gold and candy-apple scallops. When Jim's Ford was featured in Customs Illustrated September 1959 he had invested $500 USD in to it. Further plans included a Chrysler 300-C mill and a complete rolled and tufted interior.[1]
