Jim Baker's 1947 Mercury
1947 Mercury coupe restyled by David Guymon for Jim Baker of Sherman, Texas. The car was built in 1988, from a photo Jim had in Trend Book 101 Custom Cars of Cliff Rockohn's 1947 Mercury coupe. An old Barris kustom. In 2015 the car had well over 50,000 miles on ti since it was built, and according to Jim, it had only been on a trailer once, and that was on a trip to the Sacramento Autorama for the Gathering of Mercury's.
