1957 Chevrolet Corvette owned by Jim Avery of Waterbury, Connecticut. Jim's flamed Corvette was shown at the 1960 Hartford Autorama, by then it was featured by a 283 hp 283 cu in Chevrolet V-8 engine that was fed through six 2-barrel carbs. An Isky cam had been installed as well. The grille came from a 1958 Ford Thunderbird. The car was raced at track & drag, and it had been shown at the Worlds Fair Auto Show.
