1965 Chevrolet Impala SS owned by Jess Alcala. Known as "The Executive," the car was restyled by Joe Bailon at Bailon Custom Shop in Los Feliz in 1970.[1]

Joe Bailon did all of the body modifications and paint on the car. The top was chopped, and a custom targa roof was built from scratch. The complete body was reworked, and a one-of-a-kind front grille was built specifically for the car. The car ran Tru Spoke wheels manufactured by Cragar.[1]

Tridents Custom Car Show Debut

"The Executive" debuted at the Tridents Custom Car Show at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in April of 1971. According to documentation from the build, the front grille was installed at the venue just prior to the debut photo being taken.[1]
