1951 Mercury restyled by Valley Custom for Jack White. Jack's Merc received a mild customization. Up front he hood was peaked and rounded, and the headlights were frenched and fit with 1952 Mercury headlight rims. The grille shell was reshaped and five 1951 DeSoto grille teeth were installed.. The chrome on the deck lid was also removed, so were the door handles. The rear bumper was replaced by a 1951 Lincoln unit. The taillights were custom built from scratch. Once the bodywork was done, it was painted black lacquer. The car was mildly lowered and fit with after marked hubcaps.[3]
