J. A. Wright's 1949 Ford

1949 Ford convertible owned by J. A. Wright of Covington, Virginia. J. A.'s convertible was sectioned 4 1/2 inches before rear fenders from another make car were grafted onto the sectioned body. A spare tire was molded into the deck, the seats were chopped and a special instrument panel was added. The engine had overhead valves, a special cam, dual ignition, and it was rated at 182 bhp.[1]
