Gary Howard
Gary Calvin Howard (August 4, 1942 - May 7, 2019) was a talented and well-known Texas customizer that ran and operated Customs by Gary Howard.[1]

The custom car journey starts
Gary was born in Modale, Iowa, and he was raised on a farm near Council Bluffs. During his high school years, Gary and his brother Dale started working together at Mel's Body Shop in Glenwood. He went on to open up his own body shop in Glenwood. That was when Gary's custom car journey started.[1]
Gary Howard Customs
In 1985 Gary left Iowa and settled down in Weir, Texas. This is where Gary Howard Customs was born. Gary was also one of the founding members of the Kontinentals Car Club.
