1949 Ford Convertible owned by Ed Sterling of Wethersfield, Connecticut. Ed sent a request to Car Craft Magazine if they could publish a picture of his clean convertible in their magazine. The body was dechromed and seamed. The front was modified by molding a Chevrolet grille with extra teeth added. The car was lowered both fore and aft to get the right stance. The car was powered by a supercharged Thunderbird mill with dual quads and LaSalle transmission. The Oxford Gray body was pinstriped both in and out.[1]
