Ford modified originally owned and raced by dry lakes legend and speed shop owner Karl Orr. Orr sold the modified to Santa Monica Low Flyers member Dick "Magoo" Megugorac. Dick ran the car with an Edelbrock "sling shot" intake that was topped with two Stromberg 97 carburetors. The rear end featured a single 1939 Ford taillight. As Dick couldn't get the modified legally registered, he used to borrow the license-plate from his dad's pickup.
