Dave Janas' 1953 Ford
1953 Ford F-1 Pickup owned and restyled by Dave Janas[1] of Toledo, Ohio. The front and rear bumper on Dave's pickup were replaced by molded in rolled pans. Dual 1958 Ford headlights were then installed. The headlights were surrounded by chromed tube and mesh grille. All unneccessary chrome was removed before Dave installed chromed running boards. Ribbed exhaust headers and pipes ran the length of the running boards. The interior featured a black, silver, white and purple Naugahyde upholstery by De-Zel Trim Shop in Toledo.
