Darryl Starbird's 1947 Cadillac
1947 Cadillac owned and restyled by Darryl Starbird of Wichita, Kansas. The Cadillac was Darryl's first custom. It was lost over time, but years later they tracked it down to re-purchase it. "As it turns out," Del Bartel told Kustomrama in 2020, "that search led to Dodge City." The car was part of Dave Parks "secret stash," and Darryl bought it back. When Darryl found it, it had been laying out in a field for 20 some years. Darryl restored the car, and in 2020 it was part of his collection in the Starbird Museum.[1]
