1954 Chevrolet owned and built by legendary car builder Cole Foster of Salinas Boys Customs in Salinas, California. Cole bought the Chevrolet in 1988. Job Stevens, Don Fretwell, and Buck Thomas helped him chop the top on the car.[2]

Featuring a striking blue paint job by Jesse Cruz, Cole believes that the build was shown at the 1991 National Roadster Show. "It was pouring rain and we had an open trailer," Cole told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama in 2020. He recalled that it was freezing and windy in line to get in. The car got the last place in the custom class, "I didn't open trunk, hood, and doors to get show points. I never and still don't like cars opened up at shows for judges," Cole told Kustomrama.[3]

After building the car, Cole's reputation started to grow.
