Chuck Johnson's Second 1952 Ford
1952 Ford Victoria owned by Tacoma Toppers member Chuck Johnson of Tacoma, Washington. Named "The Ruby," the car was built as a clone of Chuck's first car.
The body work on Chuck's Ford was performed by Gordie Wells, and just as the original car, the front was reworked to accept a 1949 Mercury grille shell. The gravel pan was molded into the grille before two grille bars from a 1956 Chrysler were installed in the grille opening. The hood corners were rounded, and the headlights were frenched.
