Christer Carlbaum from Bromma, west of Stockholm, Sweden, has always been active within Swedish Hot Rodding.

He was president of SSRA between 1976 and 1982 and deeply involved in the fight with authorities to legalize modified cars.

Christer ran a speed-shop in Stockholm for several years, specialized in racing and Kit-cars. He has owned several customized cars, including a T-23 bucket and a beautiful 1932 Ford Victoria that still is in his possession.
