Charles Ritter's 1955 Chevrolet
1955 Chevrolet owned by Charles Ritter of Warren, Ohio. Charles owned the car in the early to mid 1970s. In 2022, his grandkid, Fred Ritter, told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama that it was that only car he remembered his grandfather telling him about before he passed away. "He bought it already customized." It featured a chopped top, a 1950 Mercury back window, and 1958 Lincoln quads that were installed vertically. Fred's father believed the taillights were cut-down Packard taillights that had been frenched in. It had the stock interior, and Fred was unsure of the grille. "I believe it was original and maybe painted partially to make it look like a tube grill."[1]
Do You Know What Happened to Charles' Chevy?
Charles was not big on customs, so he ended up trading the Chevy for a 1956 Chevrolet Convertible. "Car was sold to a guy in Boardman, Ohio named Bill Dugan," Fred told Kustomrama. Fred is currently trying to locate his grandpa's old custom. "I would love to find it, or at least even find pics of it." Do you know what happened to it? Please get in touch with Kustomrama at mail@kustomrama.com if you have any info to share about the old Ritter Chevy.[1]
