Carl Bailey's 1932 Ford
1932 Ford Tudor owned by Carl Bailey. Carl's Ford was fully upholstered by Kitzer's in black and white naugahyde, even the spare tire was covered with white naugahyde! The dashboard along with many interior accessories were chromed. The Tudor is operated by a 1954 Mercury OHV eninge which features Dempsey Wilson race cam, Harman & Collins ignition, Edelbrock manifold and Fenton headers. Carl was dissatisfied with the car's handling and ended up installing an X-member and boxing the frame. The grille shell was shaved and a wider radiator was installed. In able to get extra tread-width, a 1940 Ford rear end was connected to the Merc engine. The car was painted in black lacquer.[1]
