Calvin Wiekamp's 1955 Mercury
1955 Mercury owned by Calvin Wiekamp of Bellflower, California. At first sight, Calvin's Merc looke like a wild custom, but if you give it a second look, you will notice that the only body modifications were the shaved hood and deck lid. Cal's Merc was lowered and dual spotlights and lake pipes were added. He brought it to Larry Watson owner of Watson's House of Style for a custom paint job. The multicolored scalloped hardtop was covered with hues of purple ranging from deep tones to deep lavender, all were enclosed with white tin-line pinstriping.[3] Watson named Calvin's Merc for the "Snake Wagon".
