Burns Racing Equipment was run and operated by Dave Burns. Burns was an early advertiser in Hot Rod Magazine, and in 1948 they were located at 2210 Walter St. in Huntington Park, California. At the time they were specialized on speed equipment for Model A and Model B Fords. In addition to this, Burns did also cast aluminum club plates patterns. A pattern cost $7.50 to make, and a plate costed $1.50 each.[2]
