1954 Mercury owned by Choppers of Rockville member Bud Braun of Stafford, Connecticut. Bud's Mercury was restyled by extending the rear fenders and frenching in a set of 1954 Packard taillights. The car was nosed and decked, and the air scoop on the hood was made functional. The body sides were cleaned up by removing door handles and scripting on the fenders. The side trim was shortened, and bubble-skirts were molded on to the quarter panels. The bullets on the front bumper were scrapped in favor of a wider and smoother look as well.
