Bruce Stewart's 1953 Ford
1953 Ford Club Coupe owned by Mateo Twisters member Bruce Stewart of Atherton, California. Bruce's mild customized coupe was nosed, decked and shaved for door handles. The doors and trunk was operated by pushbuttons. The headlights were frenched and a custom straight grille bar was installed. The fenders were partially molded, and the chrome was rendered, a nice touch to give it a cleaner appearance. The taillights were frenched. The car was lowered 6 inches in the rear and 3 inches in the front. The engine was hopped up with dual carburetos and displaced 239,4 cubic inches. Once the bodywork was done, it was painted harbor blue metallic.[2]
