Bozzy Willis was a founding member of the San Diego Roadster Club.[1] In 2019 Chuck Edwall told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama that Bozzie and Charlie McMahon were in the U.S. Marines, "stationed at North Island here in San Diego. They worked in the motor pool and had access to all the fuel, workshop and tools they wanted. They both built and drove several hot rods during the war and both were avid dry lakes racers and founding members of the SDRC."[2]
