Bo Edberg from Danderyd north of Stockholm built this Hot Rod together with Clas Åström. The car was really a mix with parts from 15 different manufacturers.

Based on a frame from Buick 1963, Bosse also used the front end while the rear end came from a Pontiac Tempest 1962 with integrated gearbox mounted on the diff. housing. Thus, all wheels had independent suspension.

Engine is an Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 from 1959, 6,082 litre. Radiator from an old Rolls Royce, Gastank from Bedford etc. Many parts from Volvo.

The steel body from a Ford 1927 was found on Åland and modified from a 4-seater to 2 seats. Total cost for the rod was 5.000 SEK.
It took only 6 months to get it together!

Later, Bosse swapped the rear end to a Corvette, and the front end was replaced with a Ford I-beam with Volvo brakes and Triumph shocks. Also mag wheels and a top. The car is approved by Svensk Bilprovning in 1968 and Bosse still owns it.
The engine was changed to a big block Chevrolet in the 1970s.
This was after a race at Santa Pod in 1972 when he broke the main crankshaft in the Olsmobile engine.
He had to get towed back to the ferry to Sweden!
