The first annual Boro Motorama Rod & Custom Show was held by the Slow Pokes Car Club at Boro Motors in Metuchen, New Jersey in 1960.

The second annual Boro Motorama was held March 17 - 19, in 1961 at Boro Motors in Metuchen, New Jersey in 1960. The show was produced by the Slow Pokes car club, and directed by Leo G. Barnaby, Jr., John G. Bergan, and Robert J. Gassaway.
