Bob Tattersfield's Belly Tank
Fishtailed belly tank designed, built and driven by Bob Tattersfield. November 7, 1948, Bob's belly tank turned 136.57 m.p.h. at a Rusetta Timing Associtaion sanctioned meet, setting a record in the new "A" Streamliner class. The Tattersfield belly tank was used to promote Tattersfield speed equipment in the 1949 Bell Auto Parts Catalog.[1]
