Bob Alleborn's model A Roadster was built to use on the streets, and on the lakes. The car featured a ported and relieved 1947 Mercury block. The block was souped up with 10:1 Eddie Meyers heads, Edelbrock Super manifold with twin Stromberg carburetors, Harman & Collins full-race camshaft, W-type exhaust headers from So Cal Muffler Service. Bore and stroke remained stock. The engine was hooked to a 1939 Ford Transmission. Inside the car featured a chromed instrument panel, the tachometer was mounted on the steering column, and a starter button was mounted on the cowling.[1]
