Benke Björkman 1932 Ford
Bengt Björkman built this 1932 in mid 1960s. The car came from a junkyard in Norway.
The frame was boxed, front and rear end came from Jaguar Mk X meaning independent suspension all around.
A Chevy smallblock and manual transmission was mounted and Bengt got the car approved without any remarks in 1969.
The car had right-hand steering and as Sweden had left-hand traffic at the time Bengt built the car, he saw no reason to change that.
It was later modified to left-hand steering.
The paint was changed several times over the years. Benke also fabricated a "hardtop" to make it a 5-window coupe.
The car was sold in 2016 to a new owner after Benke had it for almost 50 years!
