A Class Coupe
There can be no alteration in height, width or contour on the A Class Coupe. Fenders must not be changed or removed. There can be no special displacement of the engine or other chassis parts. The engine can be altered to a maximum of 260 inches in any way except for the use of overhead cams and superchargers. This class of hot rod allows the owner to use his car for ordinary driving as well as for competitive meets held by timing associations. Hot rod coupes were generally rebuilt from pre-war low-priced American-make cars.
