In February of 2022 Steve Coonan announced that The Rodder's Journal would be back in 2022. The following text was posted on their webpage: "We have been working hard over the past 18 months or so to get TRJ back on track, including a move to our new facility in Denton, Maryland, photographing new articles for the upcoming issues and a host of other business related items. In 2022 we plan to resume a normal publishing schedule. We are working on two immediate goals to get us back on track. Fist, we are very far along in publishing TRJ#85 and aim to get it out to subscribers and dealers as soon as possible. The second is that we are working on shipping/reshipping all orders that have been placed but have not been received. Until we have taken care of these issues, we are not accepting new orders for subscriptions, back issues or merchandise. We feel we must take care of existing obligations before accepting new business. Thank you for your patience, support and stay tuned for further updates here and in our email newsletters."

Is the Rodder's Journal Still in Business?

Yes. In February of 2022 Steve Coonan announced that The Rodder's Journal would be back in 2022. On August 12, 2022, a newsletter was sent out to inform that The Rodder's Journal 85 had been debuted in August of 2022, at the Street Rod National in Louisville, Kentucky. According to Coonan, ordinary and lifetime subscriptions would be honoured. They were working on getting previous orders shipped, and international subscribers that hadn't gotten their copy of The Rodder's Journal 84 were promised they would now finally receive their magazines. "We are still rebuilding from the ground up," the newsletter read, "so it will take time, but you can be sure that we are working as hard as we can to get TRJ back to where it once was if not better! We are sure that this email will raise as many questions as it answers, but we believe it is a start towards continuing to publish what we believe is a quality hot rod and custom car magazine and solving all of the problems that we all have encountered over the past couple of years."
