According to Joey Wagner, the frame, and possibly some of the fabrication work on the dragster was done by Dale Kersh. Dale was also the guy who painted the first set of Mooneyes on the car. Creighton's racing number was 00, and when they first finished the car, Dale lettered it and put the eyeballs inside the 0's.[1]

The Slice-O-Pie was a flathead powered direct drive sidewinder. The motor later went into an Anglia that Dale Kersh built for the drags.[1]

In 2015 Dale's son Rick was gathering parts to build a replica of the dragster.[1]
