1958 Chevrolet Impala built by Dave Stuckey of Stuckey Kustom for Pat Mulligan of Topeka, Wichita, Kansas. The build was completed in early 1964. Dave built the car at the same time as he did the second version of the Li'l Coffin. Pat's Impala was chopped, sectioned, and converted from a two-door sedan into a hardtop. Sectioned 1962 Pontiac quarter panels were also grafted onto the car. Under the hood the car was powered by a large Chrysler engine.[3]

Once completed, the Impala was exhibited at the National Roadster Show in Oakland, California, where the Li'l Coffin was also shown by its new owner.[4]

According to Frank Spittle, the car remained with original owner Pat Mulligan for several years after its show career ended. After Mulligan stopped exhibiting the Impala, it was stored in a specially built trailer and remained in excellent condition. Spittle purchased the car from Mulligan in the early 1970s, approximately a decade after its completion, shortly after opening Specialty Car Sales in North Carolina, where the Impala served as a high-profile attention-getter for the business. Spittle sold the car within a year, around 1974.[5]
