1924 Ford Model T roadster owned and raced by Larry Neves of Oakland, California.[1]

Larry's roadster featured a tubular frame with a very straightforward 1924 Ford T body and a Kurtis-type shell. Power came from a 1941 Mercury engine. It ran a Ross steering and a Cook quick change-rear end. It was dressed up with plenty of chrome and a metallic maroon paint job. The interior was heavily padded with matching leather that was carried over the body edges and a couple of inches down the body sides.[1] Larry's car was narrowed with a Ross steering in the middle.[2]

1950 America's Most Beautiful Roadster Contender

In 1950 Neves' roadster was one of 16 track jobs that represented the NCRRA at the Oakland Roadster Show. According to Hot Rod March 1950 it was certainly one of the cleanest and best-finished cars in both NCRRA and Racing Roadsters Inc.'s corrals, and it ended up second to Bill NieKamp's 1929 Ford roadster for the America's Most Beautiful Roadster award.[1]

George Pacheco

For some reason, the name George Pacheco was attached to the Neves roadster, showing him as the owner. George was supposedly the driver and Larry's brother in law.[3]
