In 1944 Bud landed the cover of PCA News November 1944 with the custom made Jeep he had built for his daughter Joy during his time off in the Air Force. Joy is the proud driver in the photo. Scan provided by Joy Henning.

Joy Henning is the daughter of legendary East Coast customizer Herbert "Bud" Unger.
