The Alexander Brothers' 1931 Ford
1931 Ford Model A Pickup restyled by the Alexander Brothers in 1958. Larry and Mike built the car in order to promote their business and attract high end customers. They gave the car a clean shave, proper stance, Oldsmobile Fiesta Hubcaps with whitewalls, and a Glade Green Metallic paintjob. The car was called the Grasshopper due to its Glade Green Metallic paintjob. Paul Hatton did the lettering and pinstriping on the truck.
Once completed the car won a trophy for best paint at the 1958 Detroit Autorama. Larry and Mike showed the car for the 1958 season, and sold it in 1959 in order to buy a brand new 1959 Chevrolet El Camino.
Paul Hatton pinstriped and lettered the restored version of the truck.
