John Gomez' 1957 Chevrolet
1957 Chevrolet restyled by Joe Bailon of Bailon Customs for John Gomez of San Leandro, California.[1]
In January of 1962, John's Chevrolet was shown at the 7th San Mateo Custom, Rod & Sports Car Show. According to the souvenir program from the show, this version featured a Metalflake candy green paint, bumpers from Cadillac, seats from Corvair, taillights from Cadillac, dual headlights and Magnesium wheels.[2]
Later on, John had Gene Winfield of Winfield's Custom Shop paint the car pearl yellow and candy gold with candy green fades.[1]
